The Knavesmire is many jockeys’ favourite racecourse and for many years has been voted “Northern Racecourse of the Year”. The Ebor Festival in August is the highlight of the second half of the flat season and has become renowned for offering four days of high-class flat racing.

Often referred to as the ‘Ascot of the North, the York Ebor Festival has become renowned for its fashions as well as its high-quality racing, with ladies dressing up for the occasion and everyone enjoying a superb standard of hospitality.

The Ebor Restaurant

The Ebor Restaurant is a floor to ceiling glass fronted facility located on the top floor of the Ebor Stand. It is regarded as the top hospitality facility at York and has an outside viewing balcony overlooking the Winning Post.
